DKF are excited to be recruiting for an Asbestos Removal Contracts Manager for our client, an award-winning Asbestos Removal Contractor. Formed over 20 years ago, this client has continued to grow and has gone from strength to strength.
Due to continued growth and expansion, they are now keen to add another Asbestos Removal Contracts Manager to their team to estimate and run various projects. The successful candidate will be based out of their office in Cumbria to assist with a wide range of projects with a variety of clients including hospitals, local councils, housing associations and ‘Blue Chip’ companies.
The Contracts Manager role will involve assisting the existing management team in the day-to-day operations. This will include playing a vital role by ensuring contracts complete in a safe, profitable, and timely fashion whilst delivering the highest levels of service and client satisfaction throughout. Pricing works, directly managing multiple on-going projects, and developing new opportunities are essential elements of this role.
What your core responsibilities would be:
· Developing new business leads and maintaining client bases.
· Providing quotes to clients.
· To confidently manage, control and oversee all aspects of the contracts.
· Communicate effectively with all levels within the organisation (Directors, Site Managers, Site Operatives and Sub-Contractors).
· Ensure contracts are being carried out on site to a high standard and compliant with all health and safety regulations, whilst liaising with clients throughout.
· To understand all financial aspects of the management process coherently from start to finish in accordance with company policies and procedures and to ensure contracts are invoiced correctly.
· Preparing all Risk Assessments/Method Statements, relaying all information contained in site specific risk assessments/method statements to site personnel to maintain full understanding.
· Carry out internal site audits to check Risk Assessments/Method Statements are being complied with.
· Manage all training requirements and carry out annual workforce appraisals.
To be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria:
· A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a similar role.
· A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Asbestos Removal industry.
· Capability to organise and run several varied projects.
· Must be IT literate.
· Good communication, literacy, and organisations skills.
· Fully aware of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation with the ability to assess and then produce Risk Assessment, Method Statements and Construction Phase Health and Safety Plans.
· Full Clean Driving Licence.
