DKF are representing a well-known asbestos contractor looking for additional Asbestos Removal Operatives to join their growing team across Yorkshire.
Their projects are predominantly licensed sites for social housing but there will also be the opportunity to work on commercial and education projects.
What your core responsibilities would be:
· Prepare and secure work areas, including enclosures.
· Follow health and safety procedures and risk assessments at all times.
· Inspect PPE/RPE for safety and perform daily fit testing.
· Implement dust suppression techniques and monitor dust levels.
· Decontaminate equipment and personnel in line with procedures.
· Set up and maintain the decontamination unit.
· Keep training records and certifications up-to-date and available for inspection.
To be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria:
· Must hold a valid driving licence.
· Must have over a year’s recent experience in asbestos removal.
· Must have all asbestos certificates currently in date and CSCS.
· Good communication skills.
· Clean shaven due to RPE worn.
